Chicken Salad Recipe


 
Chicken or tuna salad is a must have prepped and ready at our house at all times. Both are prepared with the same ingredients and this is one of those recipes that are done to taste, add or use as little as you would like of each ingredient.  Not a mustard or raw onion fan? Leave it out- and it will still taste amazing! Great for quick snacking with crackers or cucumber, or making into a meal with sandwiches I never regret having this ready to eat. Pictured is chicken salad, and the opportunity to make this a little different each time is endless, check out all the extras you can add in below, here is what you will need to make it:

(About) 
1 can solid chicken or shredded rotisserie chicken 
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup mustard
3 pieces chopped celery 
1/3 cup chopped onion 
A few pinches of salt and pepper

First be sure your chicken is shredded and ready to mix in ingredients. Add salt and pepper, mix, add celery and onion, mix, last add mayo and mustard, mix. 

Top with chopped almonds, raisins, chopped apples, walnuts, chives, parsley, or a little more pepper. The opportunities to make this slightly different each time are endless!
