A few Fathers Day ideas
Okay ladies, so if yours is yours is anything like mine, gift time can be difficult and sometimes stressful because you just want to get it right. I thoroughly depend on other mom bloggers ideas, and a few staple gifts that somehow never get old and always seem to work out. We really enjoy making a craft to go along with these gifts, to give it that personal and keepsake touch. Fathers carry the weight of the world while the mother keeps it spinning, Wishing you luck on your hunt, and very very happy Fathers Day celeberation! Here are a few of those staples, and a couple of things that my guy has proven to like:
The Staples:
- Group Gift! Ask your guys wives if they want to organize a mens golf outing, or get tickets together for an upcoming game.
- Concert Date. Surprise your man with tickets to one of his favorite bands and a date night.
- Massage and pedicure. Yup they love it! If he hasn't tried it... make him!
- Sports gear. Cant go wrong buying him some apparel from him favorite team.
- Duluth trading Co. If sports gear doesn't suit your guy, you will find something at Duluth! Everything from fancy breathable underwear and apparel to camping/mountain man gear. This site never fails me!
- Personal Creations. This website has everything you can think of that dad will love no matter his style, and have the opportunity to add a personalized note.
Proven to be liked & on the list this year:
- For the iMan. The iWatch and iphone charging port. Found this one on Amazon, and love that it also hides the long chords.
- The Squatty Potty. For comfort and you know.... healthier bathroom time! I have seen that many department stores have started to carry these, however I found ours on Amazon. And I'm sorry, but yours won't come with the unicorn sticker, that was our own little custom touch.
- Chilling coasters. Made of stone and designed to keep your drinks cool, this is a perfect summertime gift. I found some great ones on Amazon.
- The Beard Oil. Even if your man doesn't have a beard, this oil makes a great aftershave or bald head oil. Made all naturally & smells so good!

- New silicone additions! Okay, not what you are thinking! Check out what fellow mom blogger had to say about this gift for him, and you will probably want one too! (referencing the fist silicone introduction..but ladies, check out the second one for you.)

- The Fearless Beader. I came across this mamas instagram page and I really love her key chains and bottle openers. But my heart was drawn to a key chain and necklace that piece together, check out how adorable these are!

Handmade ideas:
- Stepping stone. Grab a small bag of cement mix and a round plastic mold from your local hardware store. Make a walkway of stones for dad that he sees on his was in and out everyday. Use hand and foot prints as a memoir. I love these because you can take them when you move.
- You tackle my heart tackle box. Fill a (prefferably new) tackle box with all of dads favorite treats in each compartment.
- Homemade pinata. A fun way to have dad open the non breakable gifts, and add the kids into the excitement too. Making it from a box, cut all seams and tape them back together with the gift inside. Paper machet or decorate in dads favorite colors, or maybe his favorite teams colors!
Hope this list was helpful, and you have a list of your own, please tag me to it ( @momhatandmargaritas) I need your inspiration too! Have a wonderful Father Day!
